Centre de recouvrement
The Centre de recouvrement protects and recovers amounts owed to the Ministère and the Québec Parental Insurance Plan to ensure a sound and fair management of public funds.
The activities of the Centre de recouvrement help ensure equity between citizens by recovering sums that were paid in excess or that recipients were not entitled to. Moreover, the Centre believes it is crucial to treat the claims entrusted to it in a fair and impartial manner.

- If you have received an employment-assistance allowance as part of a public employment service, in excess of the amount to which you are entitled
- If excess sums were paid to a business or an organization as part of a subsidy or service agreement or contract for programs or measures from Emploi-Québec
- if you have sponsored an immigrant by signing a sponsorship agreement, and this person receives or has received last-resort financial assistance during the period covered by the agreement
- if you have received an amount to which you were not entitled under the Québec Parental Insurance Plan.
