As of July 31, 2020, the withholding of amounts from parental insurance benefits for the repayment of a debt will resume.
The Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale is ending the flexibility measure that temporarily suspended the withholding of amounts for the repayment of a debt. That measure was implemented on April 20, 2020, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
