Monthly statement by phone

Monthly Statement—Changes

As of April 1, 2018, you will no longer receive a Monthly Statement form. Therefore, it will no longer be necessary for you to submit the statement.

However, you will still be required to notify us without delay of any change in your situation.

General

The monthly statement is a form that you have to complete and return to your local employment centre (CLE) by the 15th day of each month. You have to provide a monthly statement regardless of whether there have been any changes in your circumstances (family or financial situation, etc.).

Monthly statement by telephone

You may make your monthly statement by telephone if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are an independent adult or the head of a single-parent family;
  • Your capacity for employment is unlimited or temporarily limited;
  • You do not have any changes to declare since your previous monthly statement.
