Exceptional measures are being taken within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Services Québec offices and local employment centres (CLEs) will now be closed over lunch hour and some services will be temporarily unavailable or will be grouped at certain service points.
We invite you to call your nearest Services Québec office or CLE before going there in person. This will enable you to find out which services you can access and to schedule an appointment.

You can also click on «Public Transit» for information on how to get to the centres, including schedules and routes. And you can also consult the business hours for each CLE.
Job-info terminals: These terminals provide access to job banks for on-site consultation. Online Placement gives access to information on job offers in Québec and the other Canadian provinces as well as labour market information (online LMI).
Multiservice rooms: These rooms contain documentation on the labour market, employment and the measures and services offered. They contain job training and job offer billboards, computers (to draft a resumé, an accompanying letter), a fax, telephones, Info-emploi windows, etc. Staff is available on-site to guide and advise you on the use of job search tools.
Services for individuals: These services offer employment assistance, assistance for self-employed workers, job search, training, financial assistance, carrying out projects, the Jeunes volontaires program, work integration contract, etc. Users must meet with an employment assistance officer to access these measures and services.
Services for businesses: These services offer assistance, consulting and financial support for human resource management (job offers, obligations and responsibilities, staff training, information on the 1% legislation, wage subsidies, labour market information, etc.)
Regulated qualifications: This service allows you to determine whether your occupation or trade is regulated under Québec statutes and regulations. Passing qualifying exams gives access to a professional qualification certificate, which certifies that you have acquired the skills required to practice this trade legally.
Workplace apprenticeship program: This program seeks to offer broader access to trades by developing and mastering workplace skills and skills recognition.
Long-term disability: When a person presents a severely or permanently limited capacity for employment. A medical report must show that the person’s physical or mental state is significantly compromised permanently or indefinitely.
Temporarily limited capacity for employment: When a person’s current situation prevents the person from carrying out an activity linked to a labour market entry or re-entry process, e.g. pregnancy, having a dependant child under age 5, being 55 or older, having a short-term illness, etc.
Employable: When a person has no limited capacity for employment and when the person’s situation allows him or her to carry out an activity linked to a labour market entry or re-entry process.
New application for last-resort financial assistance: When a person who is not already receiving benefits applies for last-resort financial assistance.
Refugee protection claimants: When a person claiming refugee status applies for last-resort financial assistance.
