Are you receiving temporary benefits from the federal government, such as the CESB or the CERB, in the context of the COVID-19 public health emergency?

We wish to remind you that rules are applicable to the addition of temporary federal benefits to those received under the assistance programs or measures available through the Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale.

Contact your agent to find out more. The steps you take today could help you avoid having to reimburse overpayments later.

  • Canada Child Tax Benefit Link to external site.
    This benefit is a monthly payment made to eligible families to help them with the cost of raising children under age 18. The National Child Benefit Supplement offsets the difference between the amount to which families may be entitled and the amount they actually receive.

    The Québec government has been paying child assistance since January 2005 in order to help out families. This measure has two components: the child assistance payment Link to external site. and the supplement for handicapped children Link to external site..
  • Québec Parental Insurance Plan Link to external site.
    The Québec Parental Insurance Plan is an income replacement plan that pays benefits to eligible parents following the birth or adoption of a child and helps to better reconcile work and family responsibilities.
